Urithi: Swahili word for Legacy
Urithi takes cognizance that girls and young women have inherent agency. Urithi's critical programming features girl-centered leadership development, equipping girls and young women with requisite skills to make informed decisions about themselves and their futures. We leverage creative and innovative approaches to provide relevant skills training, comprehensive age-appropriate health and human rights education, psycho-social support, and mentorship. The milestone for Urithi is that adolescent girls and young women begin to build their legacies in their spheres of influence.
