Our Mentorship program is a dynamic network of diverse women through which we are creating links within and across generations of women. The mentors are committed Kenyan women who while they come from diverse career backgrounds, what they do have in common is that they are ready to give back to the society; Akili Dada connects these women with our brilliant pool of scholars , alumnae and fellows to mentor and nurture the next generation to leadership.

Mentors Sign Up Form
We are looking for personal mentors who will be matched with Gap-Year Interns from the Gap Year Program as well as Fellows from the Innovation in Leadership Program and group mentors for the scholars in the Young Change- Makers Program. For personal mentors, you will be matched on a 1:1 basis with a mentee for a minimum of six months (approximately 30 hours over six months); and non-assigned mentors will be willing to offer expertise and advice on an as-needed basis (up to eight hours over six months). Group mentors attached to the Young Change Makers Program will be required to attend a minimum of 6 sessions in schools over each academic year. *This year, mentoring will run from June to December 2017.
