During the Self-Esteem and Self-Confidence facilitated by Joyce Ngumba of Akili Dada, the girls were able to self-examine and affirm their strengths while finding ways to strengthen their weaknesses after which they watched the film 'Mean Girls'. Using different magazine cuttings, the girls came with vision boards to map out their life goals. They learnt the different ways and skills of increasing their self-confidence.

In the Emotional Intelligence workshop, the girls learnt the different elements of EQ which are; self-awareness & confidence, self-motivation, self-management, empathy & social skills. They also looked at; measures of academic success, key skills for academic success and academic success stories and communication skills.
