Event Announcement: Akili Dada in the SF Bay Area

We couldn’t be more excited to announce that Akili Dada has a full calendar of events in the San Francisco Bay Area this month. From Global Fund for Women to the Impact Hub SF, Akili Dada Founder/E.D., Director of our Young Changemakers Program and three Akili Dada alumnae will be exploring young women’s leadership through film and community discussion. Africa Rising: Exploring Young Women’s Leadership

Date: October 9th, 6:30-8:30pm

Description: This event will feature Akili Dada’s Founder/ED, and be focused on questions around young women’s leadership, and what it take to grow the pipeline of women ready to step into leadership positions. We will also be sharing some video interviews directly from Akili Dada scholars. Register here!

African Women Lead: Flipping the Script

Description: The topic of women’s leadership is trending across sectors and continents. From tech startups to grassroots NGO’s, it’s an important conversation for all of us, regardless of where we live or what we do. Each of us has a role to play in nurturing the next generation of women leaders. For the very first time, Akili Dada staff and trailblazing alumnae of our Young Changemakers Program come together to share the work of Akili Dada with the Bay Area community. Spots are going fast, so grab yours today!
