Once a dada, always a dada.  When Akili Dada’s high School Scholars graduate, they are still very much part of the sisterhood.  In addition to interning at the Akili Dada office during the gap year between secondary and university, they take part in various training to continue developing their leadership skills, vision for their own lives and the impact they want to create.

The August leadership academy for alumnae was centered around public speaking.  For three days, and with the help of  Michael Balaoing, they worked through the weak points and learned creative tactics to improve their delivery and level of comfort in front of an audience.  Two weeks later they delivered their own public speaking training at the academy for current high school scholars.  The ripple effect continues.
